Personal Update

Hey everybody! Hope you enjoyed all the music I've been posting up daily. This is truly something new to me, and I'm still getting use to it. Anyways, as some of you might have read in my very first post, that the songs I post up have some sort of deep connection with me, and that's why I like em and post em up here.

However, lately my mind has been out of this planet. Thoughts and emotions are running through my brain cells like never before, and it's due to some difficult situations I'm dealing with. It does have to do with the past, which you can probably figure out by the songs I've posted up, but also the current state of my relationships.

This is something I've never experienced in my life. I can say it's a test and a big emotional struggle that I'm going through. Many symptoms have gone through my mind and body, yet I have more to go through. The thought makes me want to end my life, yet I know that is an unwise decision. This is a fight of right and wrong, love and respect. A fight that is internal between close one's around me. Prevailing this challenge will help me succeed in future bonds.

I just wonder, when will I ever learn from the words that I write. Yes I say what needs to be done, but how will I get myself to do it. That's the real challenge. Yet I'm still there figuring out a tactic to conquer through this journey.

Jason Reeves is an amazing singer. With the soft acoustic sound, his smooth voice, and deep words this song will touch the inner most part of your heart. Photographs & Memories will touch the one's that have gone through a loss of a love one, and even possibly one's that are still in a relationship.

This song means a good deal to me, it reminds me of a broken relationship. Even though it's over, you still need that person. A part of my heart will always beat solely for this one person. No matter how badly it ended or how much this person is not good for me, I miss her. The photographs and memories keep her alive inside my heart.

The last part of the song is what I think stands out the most and is amazing!

Sean Kingston - Beautiful Girls

Sean Kingston is a young artist that is rising in the music charts. His first single "Beautiful Girls" made him what he is now. This song has an old school beat that was very popular, and he brings it back with his own version. Very catchy and age appropriate for anyone. A great song to take anywhere with you.

Well the song is about beautiful girls, hence the title, and how his relationship with one beautiful girl didn't go so well. In the beginning he shares that he fell in love with this girl at the park, and how they both thought that love lasts forever. Also that his girl is one of a kind and how she has him crazy, aka suicidal. He then explains to us how he did time for a crime and how after he came out he finds out that his girl is with someone else already. She's lying to him, dating other guys, and their fighting. And so he says, "You're way too beautiful girl That's why it'll never work".

This song is perfect. I love how he describes girls exactly the way he did. I couldn't say it any clearer. I also do think that beautiful girls are the one's that drive a guy crazy and also the one's that are most likely not to be loyal. Hence there divine beauty that attract other guys. Maybe I'm wrong though and hopefully, because that's a sad and bad assumption. Anyways, that's how I felt with my girl. She truly is a beautiful girl, and she did have me suicidal like no other. She also was popular under other guys eyes. Which did make me feel uncomfortable and worried, yet I still tried to keep my dignity. Things didn't continue so well though, and I'm pretty sure she's already found a replacement. If you think about it in consideration to this song, it's typical behavior. The only way for it to be broken, is for them to realize what their doing and be aware about themselves. Anyways, that's my two cents.

Okay today's song is featuring a very young artist that is 10 years old. His known as an reggaeton artist and also featured in other bachata songs such as this one.

This song is about the love of a boy. He falls for a girl at school, hence the title, and he explains to her that he'll always be there for her and that she's the only one he wants. He continues with other common clingy phrases that I know some of us have felt and expressed.

I like this song very much because it reminds me of when I met my girl at school. And honestly, she was the only thing I wanted and with her I was always happy; just like Miguelito said.

Cruzito is an amazing rising artist in the latin industry. Working with popular artist such as Rakim & Ken-y. His music is definitely something you should listen to. To all those lovers, Cruzito is for you. Much like Rakim & Ken-y, Cruzito speaks to us of the passion and love for your significant other or someone you like.

This song is definitely something I can relate to, and I'm sure many others too. In this song he talks about how he wants the girl he likes to escape with him, and that she's the one for him. And how when he saw her, he quickly went crazy for her and that something in him was pulling him towards her. Yet the girl tells him that she's not that type that's from the "streets", and how her parents educated her. So she tells him to leave and to find a girl that is easy to get. So Cruzito continues telling her that she wants her to be his queen and to escape with him.

A lover song indeed. People that are in this stage or have been, know how powerful this feeling is especially for a guy with good intentions. I remember I would tell my ex that same thing, and she would sound like the girl singing in this song, very intelligent and sophisticated. Honestly, when I first saw her, I KNEW she was the one; I had a gut feeling and from then I went crazy. The time spent wanting her and being with her was amazing, just like this song.

What the best part of this is, the very begining when he talks. Those exact words he says is the exact way I felt and spent my time. Till this day, "Esta en mi mente 24/7".

Okay, I'm bringing you a song that I forgot to post yesterday. This song is Speakers Blown by Hit the Lights. I found this band in my itunes library and I didn't even know I had them, weird huh.

Anyways, this band is awesome and the song is the best. I love it because it talks about a break up he had and how the songs he hears remind him of her. And how each of them hurts him, and his trying to forget about them. I can totally relate to what his saying. It is very hard to listen to your favorite songs that you shared with the one you love, and then listen to them by yourself after a break-up. It hurts, and it's hard to continue listening to them. I personally changed the type of music I heard after the break up, because I couldn't take it. Yet once in awhile I still go back and listen to those old jams that I love. When I do go back, I'm taken to the sky reminiscing.

Ace hood is a rapper like no other. Many of his songs speaks to us of all these emotional feelings we have. Here is one of his more sensitive songs called Love Somebody.

He explains to us that nobody matters than the one you love. Even if your out and some girl is showing you love at club; you wouldn't care for her and it won't mean anything because she ain't your girl. Also how when you have somebody that you love, nothing else matters but them and you'll do anything for them. He tells us he would give up his fame, his cars, his house, his rich lifestyle just for this one girl. And how she has him feening for her.

This song is awesome, and everything that he illustrates is how many of you folks felt before. I know I have. I felt like nothing and no one in the whole world mattered but her, my only love. I would have given up everything up just to be with her, and till this day I would still. Even though I'm single now, yet the fire is still burning for her and the feelings remain unchanged.

Okay so for today's song I bring you a Reggaeton beat. This song is by Zion featuring Eddie Dee called Amor de Pobre. In english it's "Love from the Poor". Meaning a less fortunate person showing romantic love.

So the song is about this guy that see's this gorgeous girl and wants her. His poor and she's rich. Yet he explains how he can't get her anything and how he has no car, or mansion nor money. And that he doesn't care about all the materialist things, that all he wants is her. So he tells her all these wonderful things like, when his with her he feels like a millionaire. That all he wants is her indefinitely.

Have you felt like that before? I'm sure you have. Probably when you saw that beautiful girl walk in the room, or it could be even the first lover you ever had. I have, and the song explains the emotion perfectly. I felt like nothing was important but this one special girl. It's a wonderful trance you'll experience in life.

He really thinks there is something real between them, like love. But the girl keeps telling him that what he feels is just an obsession , it's not love and it'll go away in time. Yet he continues forward saying that it is real, and urging her to give him a chance. That he will do many things to please her.

As you can see, many guys have felt this strong feeling he describes in the song. I have, and I can understand where his coming from. Saying that it is love, and saying it's not an obsession like many think. Yet the girls always, always think it's an obsession because they think that's how guys are when they see a good looking girl. So when he say's he really does see a future with her, he show's that he passionately wants to be with this girl for a purpose. Not for a hook up like many, but to keep forever by your side. That's the exact the way I felt with my last lady. Yet the girls don't seem to understand the way we feel. It's a shame because it's something you know is real.

Those were just some that caught my attention the most. I've felt this way with my past girl, and I tell you, she was truly something special to me. She was my Dream Girl, and continues to be.

Blue October - Into the Ocean

I present you today a very unique style of music I ran into. As you notice from other posts, I listen to about anything. As long it sounds good and has something meaningful.

Blue October's "Into the Ocean" has a very awesome beat and catchy chorus. His voice is also great to listen to. This song can have many meanings for many people because of the variety of metaphors he uses. The idea is still around the same concept.

I love how all his words just flow so smoothly together and the emotions that jump out through out the song. It's about a boy that jumps into the ocean and the thoughts that go through his mind while his treading in the water. With his last thought of his beloved, "I thought of just your face Relaxed, and floated into space". This song has a deeper meaning as it nears the end, revealing that the boy drowning was initially a dream spurred by the feelings of grief over a loss of a loved one, I suppose the woman that gave him comfort as he imagined he was drowning.

Personally, I can relate to every word this song has to say. It's very heart moving and something I can see clearly. Like he said in the song, "Into the ocean, end it all". Most likely pertaining to suicide. I was in this exact state that he illustrates. The grief, the dream, and the suicidal emotion. I feel every word he sings. The metaphors of the emotions he feels are great, such as "Let the waves up, take me down", "Let the rain of what I feel right now come down", and "I want to swim away but don't know how". These are all very well depicted. I know how it feels to lose that loved one. It's the most painful thing one can ever face in life, especially when it's your first and you undoubtedly know she is the only one for you. All this took me to a horrible state of grief and suicidal feeling. Yet I'm still recovering till this day, it's not an easy thing to get over.

Another great meaning I walked by, is the fact he didn't just jumped into the ocean but also into his relationship.

"Now waliking to the sun

I calculate what I had done

Like jumping from the bow (yeah)

Just to prove I knew how (yeah)"

Here he shows that he jumped into the relationship before he was truly ready. Probably the key to why his relationship and why he jumped overboard? Something to think carefully of. I do see how this relates to me though. When I started my relationship I can say I wasn't ready. Yet I also jumped into it thinking I know how to do this and just to prove something I didn't know. From my current point of view, I can see why many things turned out the way they did and why the relationship went overboard. Which tuned into the emotion this song describes.

In the end though, I still think of her and it still feels like everything in the world around me is not existent, calm, floating in space. Like he says,

"I thought of just your face

Relaxed, and floated into space"

It's a great feeling. I'm sure many of you experienced something like this, either if your with or without your loved one.

Today I give you a popular song that is out everywhere right now. It's by Owl City called Fireflies. Everything about this song is great. The beat, the innocent lyrics, and the trance it takes you. If you listen carefully, he explains the innocence of a child catching fireflies and imagining the world spinning around slower. What do you think his trying to tell us here?... Yup, it's about "time".

How he wishes he could go back to be an innocent child playing with fireflies, and just enjoy the slow essence of time. Back when things went by slower were you could actually appreciate and enjoy your time doing what you did. Also keeping that innocence and naivety in you, even through this fast paced lifestyle. This is something we should all keep in mind and consider adding it to our daily lives.

I know I would like to got back in time and repeat many events I've been through and enjoy them again, but today we can only add them to our life. So make the best of it.

Today we have the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. The most amazing man in music history to change the way we look at music today. With many great hits, this one undoubtedly will catch some body's ear. Man in the Mirror is very inspirational type of song. A song everyone should definitely listen.

The message I come across is, if we want to change we have to start with ourselves. This is very true, because in order to teach or help somebody you should already have experience in it. Another message I get is that there are many problems out in the world and we should do something to change it. But in order for that to commence, we need to start with ourselves.

This song is also good for anyone that is going through a hard time in life. Especially when you need to change yourself for the better. As I feel I have lately, however change is continuously and I still feel that I need to change even more. Sometimes I wish I could go back to when things where much better, but I can't. The only way to go is forward. It's not impossible, yet it takes time and effort to be successful. So keep battling. I'm there with you. We can all conquer it.

What can I say, I mean many of you guys probably have had that desire before or probably still do. It's a very powerful emotion, especially when your in love with the girl of your dreams. Arcangel - Por Amar A Ciegas

This song right here is truly amazing. Arcangel is a Reggaeton artist with many great songs. You have to really listen to this one though. It's heartwarming and very sentimental. Sharing with us an experience and the cold truth of what other's say about love. When I say other's I don't mean random people, I mean people with important opinions that you should really consider.

This track feels like it was made for me, and honestly even when I was in my relationship I would constantly listen to this song. Here's why, let me tell you more about this song.

Well the title in english is "For loving you in blindness". The chorus in english is,

"And now that I don't have you I think about all the time lost that I lost because of you For loving you in blindness I didn't listen and I launched at emptiness for love everyone told me everyone warned me That there are flowers with thorns"

Very powerful chorus I think.I connect to this almost one hundred percent. When I listened to this song, I realized that I did "not listen and I launched at emptiness for love". I was looking for love that I didn't receive, and I found it in the wrong place. Doesn't mean I didn't really love her, I do. I just really needed the family type of love that was lacking, which was the root of all this. Also, many people did warn me about this relationship, such as my own mother, but inexperienced me continued anyways and I ignored it. The metaphor of the flowers is also very true. Just because you find somebody that looks or is amazing, doesn't mean your relationship is gonna end up that way. You still have to be careful, because not all of them are thornless.

Another great part is, "I once asked a pastor of love And he told me to give it to God That I shouldn't feel lonely Being lonely was best Than Living in a illusion". Very true, as I personally hear all the time. Though for myself is very hard when you don't have much faith. One important aspect is that if you do give your love to god, he will bless you with many great things. An affair I must definitely work on. Also the fact of being by yourself is the best is rightfully correct, because you will learn more of yourself and grow. Which in my case I didn't give myself that opportunity. I was stuck in a illusion that things were gonna stay perfect, but just because it feels right at that moment doesn't mean that it's gonna be like that for the rest of your life. So now that I am alone I can grow and learn many things. Something we all need to do, it's how we become better people and a better lover.

Lastly, the most powerful, inspirational, and sentimental statement from this song is "I once asked my father of love and innocence of faith patience and do you know what he told me Son its always best to ignore the heart pay attention to your conscience". There you go, something to digest in your mind. This is exceptionally accurate. Your heart has carnal desires, while your mind is the true source of righteous knowledge. Something I knew at the time, but was to stubborn to follow because I was so high of this drug that we call, love.

Back when I was in alliance with the other person, I would listen to this song and feel his words. Except I didn't process it right, and I stayed just for this feeling I had. At the time, I should have done exactly the words I quoted above. We probably would have a much better connection or I would have lightly ended it so I could grow as a person and yet still be friends. But till ti's day, no connection is in existence. Which saddens me in a way.

This song here is from the few or only one by Pitbull that is actually sentimental. Yes it's another breakup song. Hey, those are the songs that I really like because I can understand and feel what they are saying. I'm sure many of you do too, and if not with this song then another I'm sure. So this song features Frankie J, a R&B singer and Ken-Y, a Reggaeton singer. All of them combined makes a perfect heartwarming song, especially the original Spanish version. You should definitely go check out the Spanish version if you can understand it.

I Love the song completely. I remember listening to it way back even before I had someone in my life. This song will continue to sail through the hearts of lovers, one's that are happily together, one's that are going through issues, and others that want to get back with there boo. I suppose the last one correlates to me.

It's great that it mentions that he cannot let her go like that, because his heart wants to keep her. I really feel those lines. Basically it's hard to have someone that you love, leave from your life. I also like how he displays that he would sacrifice anything to bring her back. Something I LITERALLY would do.

Wow, all I gotta say is this song is REAL AMAZING. This song is very touching and sentimental. It will get to a person in the same shoes to appreciate the emotion it shares. This song was originally made about one year ago and was made for Robin in Batman. It portrays his life in the shadow.

When I first heard this song, I immmediately thought "this person is depressed". And guess what, I can share the exact words and feelings this song expresses. But I guess that's how you feel after a HUGE loss. For me that was the worse period of my life. Even today, I'm slowly recovering.

I would like to make a brief analysis of the lyrics and how it's relevant to what I've experienced. First, when he states

"But for me I don't know where to go I don't know what I'm supposed to be Or who I am I feel so damn lost in the cold"

After the terrible loss I went through, I feel emotionally and mentally I went back two years earlier right before I met this person. And so I had unfinished business to deal with, and with her I felt like everything that was wrong went away. She was my getaway. So when I did come back to this state, you could imagine, I had many things I had to deal with especially after this horrible breakup. So these are the exact words I would think of. I was still young mentally and learning what life was about. It's relevant to how I felt.

Another line I like is,

"Maybe if I knew a little more about love Then I would finally find who I am"

At this time I didn't receive much proper love from my own family. So I can see why I went crazy for this girl, because I wanted her love. Now that I've realized that, I can improve the relationships I have with my family.

The entire song is amazing like I stated earlier. Something you should really check out. I've learned a lot lately and I continue to strive for the best in my family and myself.

Okay so today at Musical Paradise, I bring you a song by Ne-yo. His a very popular artist in today's R&B music. "Mad" brings us an emotional view of couples having disagreements and the agony it brings.

Many couple's have small disputes over something small that really don't even need to be argued about, and instead should be dismissed. Fighting over something that don't matter just hurts the both of you in the end.

I really like how he say's "what happened to workin' it out?". I remember in past conversations I've had that that was what we would talk about to avoid any arguments. But as you see, we can't avoid all of them and eventually are they fueled up.

What I like as well is the part were he mentions, "Girl, I don't wanna go to bed mad at you". This part just reminds me of when I would go to bed mad or very upset after a unplanned day with my girl. I mean I would go spend time with her but then there were times we didn't even speak, but I knew there was some sort of tension between the two of us. And that's what I hated because we couldn't talk it out. It would get me angry when I tried and she would say "Everything is fine" when you know exactly that it ain't. That is one thing I realized, we had horrible communication. But from this I've learned, and now I am striving to improve even more as time continues.

Basically, avoid fighting with your love one over minor things. Life is short, you should make the best of it and spend it joyfully with your love one. You never know what might happen, it might be the last argument you'll have. You don't want that, so cherish every moment.

Enrique Iglesias Ft. Sean Garrett - Away

Here's an amazing song from Enrique Iglesias with Sean Garrett. This song has a lot of meaning to me so that's why I like it tremendously. Enrique makes countless songs with the same passion this one holds. His music seems to have a constant relevance to others that listen to him, which I think is great.

I like the metaphors he illustrates and seeing how everything seems to fall apart in the relationship. What's very interesting is how he also say's that his girl asked him why he was so "skeptic of love". Yet he still opens his arms for her and gives it a chance, then it all turns around. She promised she wouldn't give up on them, but unexpectedly she blows him.

I can understand the feeling of what he is describing in this song, and I'm pretty sure many of you folks do as well. This guy willingly gives up his heart, his emotions, and his strength to this one girl. In the end, she breaks him. One line or phrase I like in this song is,

"I just wanna be here to pick up the little pieces of remains I'm going down, the plane is smoking, and the only one Who can save me is you but you wanna throw me Away...".

What I grasp, is that even though their relationship was falling he was still trying to make things better. But his girl did not reciprocate with the same intention, and instead wants it to be over. I really feel his pain here because I've gone through it myself. It's the most painful thing you'll ever go through in your life.

Another awesome line that made me think was when he says,

"You start to live the dream and before you know There's a door that open, and the moment you walk in it close".

It's basically restating the first line I mentioned but in a different illustration. Here his love for this girl is like a "dream", and you know how dreams feel. Dreams is the most amazing process one can have. It's a high that's better than anything in the world. So metaphorically, his in this dream walking towards this door that is wide open but suddenly it closes. This is really well drawn out.

Overall, what I got from this song is that he tries to make things better but the girl doesn't put the same effort, and instead she just ends it. And he wants to know why, knowing that putting the effort shows that he really cares. Yet the girl is to blind and stubborn to even see that and does not even bother contributing some effort. From experience, this is really confusing why a girl will promise you something but later down the road contradicts what she said. Hence the re-occurrence of the word "why?". To this day I still ask, WHY?

Jowell & Randy - Que Te Vaya Bien

Jowell & Randy is a Reggaeton group that have many popular songs, such as this one. This song is more sentimental out of all the other songs they've made. Its a great song from them.

It's talking about the guy losing his girl, and that she left without reasons. The chorus saying, how he hopes everything goes well for her (hence, "Que Te Vaya Bien"). The song also brings up how his days became dark and depressed, and that the loneliness literally talked to him. In addition, how his girl will never change her ways (who she is) and that she'll NEVER find another like him (yeah, true that!).

Personally, I completely agree with this guy. All you can do is to hope she does well and to move on, even though it's a struggle to oneself. Here's a line I like, "From the same blow, I knew how to walk with desires". From what I understand, is he learned to move on while still thinking/desiring (of) her. I currently live proof of that, and I bet many others also do too.

Here some lines to think of from the song. "So man lies that hid the love" and "I don't know, so many secrets without solutions". Pretty meaningful and something to think about, is there lies? what are the lies? and what are the secrets?. Please, I would like to hear from you.

Gabriel Antonio - I Wish

I bring you today an artist that I ran into on Myspace. His name is Gabriel Antonio with the song I Wish. Gabriel's song illustrates the struggle of a relationship. He not only show's his characters traits, but he also gives us a picture of his girls personality.

The song demonstrates the agony the guy is going through trying everything he can do to fix his relationship. The girl here is depicted as over-controlling, has trust issues, and takes things a little too serious. Which happens to hurt their relationship. The guy here really loves her, but she is blinded by her own flaws.

Many of us have probably gone through this and we need to realize that the other person won't change, especially for other's (No matter how much they say they will for you or whoever, they won't). They can only change for themselves, which takes time and patience from others. In addition to what was mentioned in the song, we sometimes need to let them go so they can be aware, grow, and better themselves.

I've learned all this and much more from recent personal experience. That's why I added this song on this site, so you can see that life is a struggle and we got to keep growing as a person.

Today I have a song I've been yearning to put on here. A song by Lil Cuete called Rainy Days. This song is self explanatory and AMAZING. I feel every word Cuete say's in this song. It's very stimulating. I can associate myself with every detail described and understand why his saying what his saying. It's like he knows exactly how I feel and what happened to me.

So I would really like to share with you my favorite part of this song, but I can't. The whole song explains the very point of exactly what strikes my heart. But I'll share with you some lines. Here they are,

"You told me to hold on, and like a fool I keep on waiting"

All those statements have a significant reference to the love and agony I went through.

Okay, here's another by Aventura. A song called "Dile Al Amor". A great song for someone that can relate to a breakup.

This song is about this guy who doesn't want anything to do with love. He tells cupid to not come knocking to his door, that he left for vacation away from love. He also says that he doesn't want to hear music, look at flowers, or be around moments that have to do with love. I really like it becuase this is how I felt, and somewhat still do. It's very hard to continue with love, especially when you TRULY gave your love to someone and they tear it up.

So expect more from Aventura, because they have many songs that I personally like.

Here's an artist I happen to run into on youtube and instantaneously I liked this song. Honestly though, this is a great song for those who have had a hard break up and especially if you understand it of course.

So I'll give you a brief description of this song. Basically, this guy has something to say to his ex you could say. And he tells her "I'm sorry for everything I did, I swear I loved you" and "I've never cried over a girl like that in my life because I want to spend my life with you". There's more in between, but I pulled out what's most important. From experience, this is the hardest time in one's life, and even after a length of time you can still feel this way. I selected this song most of all because there's only one girl that's actually made me cry over her, just like the song mentions "because I wanted to spend my life with her".
