Atreyu - The Remembrance Ballad

Here I'm taking you to a whole new other genre of music. Atreyu is an awesome band that I have personally been listening to for awhile. This song is just pure amazing. What this song is about, is mostly of how will people remember you after death. Also things you should say to others before its too late. This song just really makes you think. Life is short and you want to use your time well.

I love how the lyrics mention "All those things you couldn't say, You should have said, All those 'I love you's' lost, Weighed more like lead on your chest". These lyrics just go to show that we need to tell people we love that we love them and show that we appreciate them, and also visa versa. Because it hurts to know that you lost someone(in any kind of way) and you didn't tell them how much you loved them. It hurts even more when it's visa versa, where they didn't tell you the things they should've said, like those "I Love You's".

This song was the only song I would listen to this Summer of 09' because of a real terrible loss. The song helped with this horrible pain I would feel everyday. In my bedroom full of sorrow trying to figure things out, the only thing that got me by was songs such as these one's to express myself. Soon time past by and things got easier and better, yet the pain will remain inside.
